NFA Youth in Government Students Learn from Local Leaders
蘑菇传媒Youth in Government club at NFA ended the year with two memorable events.
蘑菇传媒first was County Service Day at the Orange County Government Center in Goshen. Students shadowed officials in the Human Resources department, participated in a legislative session with County Legislators, and sat with judges in both a Family Court trial and a County Court trial. 蘑菇传媒day ended with a get together and lunch at the Osiris Country club.
蘑菇传媒second event was a trip to the New York Capital in Albany. Students met with Senator Skoufis, Assemblywoman Gunther and Assemblyman Brabenec. Students were also taken on a tour of the capital including the Senate floor.
